Abstract

Background: Wound care has developed very rapidly, especially in the last two decades, supported by advances in health technology. In addition, the current issue of wound care management is related to patientchanges which are increasingly accompanied by degenerative disease conditions and metabolic disorders. These conditions usually require proper treatment so that the healing process can be optimal. Modern wound care management places great emphasis on this issue. This is supported by the increasing number of the latestinnovations in wound care products. This study aims to determine the development of antibacterial wounddressing in the treatment Diabetic Foot Ulcer. Methods: Literature Review was carried out using the PRISMA Extension for Scoping Review (PRISMA-ScR) guidelines. To Identify relevant articles. Thedatabase used is PubMed and selects journals for the last 5 years from 2016-2020 then the articles that fall into the inclusion criteria are summarized and explained in a narrative manner. Results: 4 out of 366 articles were selected according to the criteria specified in this study. The article used there are 4 kinds of wounddressings. Conclusion: The use of wound dressings for the last 5 years has 5 wound dressings found,namely Nanocrystalline Silver wound dressing, Manuka Honey wound dressing, gentamicin sponge wounddressing, beta form wound dressing and Sucrose Octasulfate wound dressing. Wound dressings were found to be microbial and capable of killing a broad spectrum. The recommended wound dressings are Nanocrystalline Silver wound dressing and Sucrose Octasulfate wound dressing. In the last 5 years, there has been no recent discovery of antibacterial wound dressings. Thus, further researchers can find the latestantibacterial wound dressings.
